3/16″ Single Row Pivot Bearing

Description

These pivot bearings are designed for smooth knife actions, the 10-ball design provides 10% more contact area than standard stamped metal cages. The 1/16“(0.0625“) hardened, grade 5, Silicon Nitride (Si3N4) balls provide for a silky-smooth action for the life of the knife. The plastic cages also prevent any of the balls from getting wedged as can happen with stamped metal cages. The other advantage of plastic cages is they will not corrode and cause sticking over time.
The cages are manufactures using a 3D printer that has been modified to allow for the printing of these small parts. The plastic used is an industrial material that is not affected by petroleum or other common knife pivot lubricants.
